Cornelius Edward Conrad

Cornelius E. Conrad (formerly just Commander Conrad,) started off as a vent-ish one-off from the two art pieces with one being titled "FOULPLAY." The pieces were created sometime around August of 2022. As more as I drew Conrad, I tried drawing him more unsettling to fit with the tone. When he became an actual oc, the main inspirations for this oc were always from a form of music. Back then, Arcturus was the main inspiration for Conrad before Solefald came to rise. The whimsical piano solos and symphonic elements followed with eerie synths made up a lot in Conrads design overtime. For his voice claim, he was going to be similar to how King of OOO sounded (voiced by Tom Kenny yadurrrr), but then changed to Cornelius Von Jakhelln (vocalist for Solefald), hence his full name. Excuse the mess of switching back topics I don't like reading books :,). Conrad's first design in August 2022 started off as a y'know, one-off, with a self indulgent art style more based off of the rubberhose art style. There's not much to say about this piece in particular. "FOULPLAY," a simple art piece, just of his hat with the video version playing a song by Monkey Jacket, "Tough Luck."

              Conrad in this timeline (around october - december 2022) was drawn with a more complex yet standard body shape with his hobby being a circus leader whilst being a druggie in his free time. this was shortly before his color palette was changed to not clash with each other to be made more appealing. orange color palette but with that stupid monicle thing By around maybe January of 2023, his monicle was changed because it just looks stupid and chunky. His suit also changed to just a generic actor's suit but changed to a more greyish brown to fit with the new color palette. This was also when I started making Templeton associated with Conrad, and also played around with art styles using him.                 Febuary or March was when I made Templeton Conrad's son. There was some more lore about this but I've pretty much wiped it all off because it felt ridiculous and couldn't write stories at all. There was a strange form of obsession I had about this character around May to July hence why this was like the most ugly era of Conrad hehe.                 Around August was when I stopped making Conrad so uncanny in a genuinely ugly way and brought back the cartoony anatomy with another change in his suit, now having stripes with the inspiration of Edmond's design. Played around and giving more alternative designs to him sometimes giving him different facial hair inspired by magicians and Vendetta, also bringing back his shitty hairline.                 In 2024, Conrad was now mostly known to be a mascot for Youtube and other projects I partook in as in the Garden Guardians animation by Kubernikus18. (is partook a word idk lol)                 in conclusion, this oc was pretty important after the replacement of Christine (comically died from the hands of a psychotic artist obsessed with her own piercings.) and it felt way easier to draw this character.
